The marketing team at CarePort is looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on executor to join our team as field marketing manager. This newly created, Boston-based role will work closely with the acute sales team to implement focused messaging and tactics for strategic sales focus areas. In this role, you will lead the way with research, messaging and tactics for specific regions, working cross functionally between marketing and sales, with the help of our data analytics and product teams to help CarePort grow and succeed in targeted markets. The ideal candidate for this role has a background in healthcare technology, experience working closely with sales teams and is comfortable both developing messaging and tactics, as well as taking action to implement thoughtful marketing plans in collaboration with the broader marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the process for building, executing, measuring and refining marketing plans in targeted areas together with marketing and sales stakeholders
  • Create, implement and manage demand creation and lead generation activities in specific markets to create brand awareness and generate leads
  • Work directly with sales representatives to build a further understanding of their market and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Research and develop a deep understanding of each strategic market to help create specific content and outreach programs that will resonate with buyers and influencers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on marketing preferred
  • 5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in healthcare B2B technology
  • The ability to be a team player as well as work independently
  • Ability to be creative, efficient and productive with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Previous experience with marketing technology (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed colleagues
