CarePort Health is seeking a Boston-based senior communications manager to oversee its public relations, advertising, social media and content strategy. Key for helping to grow awareness of the company through news, blogs, case studies and other content, the senior communications manager owns the relationship with CarePort’s public relations and digital advertising firms. The ideal candidate has experience working in the healthcare technology space, working closely with internal and external customers, and managing vendors.


  • Develop and manage a content strategy that includes PR, content and advertising
  • Align strategy with key company goals and objectives
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the company’s PR firm; work closely with team to develop pitches, press releases and contributed content
  • Write and publish content for the company blog, case studies and advertisements
  • Manage social media platforms, including strategy, day-to-day management, advertising and analytics
  • Manage advertising and sponsorship opportunities
  • Work closely with marketing and sales department on aligning campaigns


  • 5-7 years of experience in a communications/public relations role; healthcare and B2B experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field, or commensurate experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing or working for public relations firms and managing corporate social media profiles
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Team player, willing to contribute to projects and work independently
