CarePort Health is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our product team and lead the design of our healthcare software platforms. As a UX/UI Designer at CarePort, you create user interfaces and workflows to solve customer problems while improving usability. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders with different areas of expertise (product managers, developers, account managers) to flesh out solutions to problems quickly through high and low fidelity prototypes, depending on the situation
  • Produce wireframes, sketches, and UI specs for testing and development
  • Lead the following activities with minimal-to-no guidance: Storyboarding, Flow Diagraming, Information Architecture, Interaction design and wire-framing, high and low fidelity prototyping
  • Develop persona and user journeys through user research and data analysis
  • Recommend creative ways to solve UX problems for users with differing levels of knowledge, and technical and analytical skills
  • Conduct usability tests with customers and internal users to help improve CarePort systems
  • Research and understand competitive landscape and identify new opportunities
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure functionality meets defined requirements
  • Establish and promote design guidelines for interaction, UX/UI and design patterns, best practices and standards for the CarePort product suite
  • Research the market and competitors to better understand the issues impacting our customer base and how others are addressing those

Requirements

  • 3-7 years UX design for digital applications
  • A bachelor’s degree in digital design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science-related field – or equivalent experience
  • Experience with industry-standard UX practices; understanding of product development and all user experience disciplines
  • Knowledge of product design and prototyping software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and quantitative skills, while also maintaining the ability to have big-picture conversations
  • Experience in visual design with a portfolio of examples
