Product Manager

CarePort Health is growing and is seeking a Product Manager to lead the product development process for two of our enterprise platforms. This key role will work on two related but distinct product lines, defining and executing on short-term goals and long-term milestones driving innovation in the discharge planning space. You are skilled at understanding market needs and translating those into product requirements. You have an understanding of cross continuum care issues and are driven by improving patient outcomes. You are a passionate self-starter who is able to lead teams without direct authority. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders with different areas of expertise (product managers, developers, account managers) to understand customer needs
  • Interface with customers to gain insight, and to identify and validate new ideas
  • Curate and maintain a roadmap for two key products based on industry research and internal stakeholder feedback
  • Maintain the product backlog, including constant evaluation, definition and prioritization of the immediate work required to keep customers engaged
  • Lead the engineering team to execute on the backlog/product roadmap
  • Research and understand competitive landscape and identify new opportunities
  • Lead product education efforts to ensure all stakeholders, internal and external, are well informed about changes to the product
  • Support advisory boards and user groups as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience working in Healthcare Product Management
  • Must be able to define and manage complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Strong facilitation and consensus building skills – ability to influence beyond authority
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and quantitative skills, while also maintaining the ability to have big-picture conversations
  • Ability to remain calm, cool and collected when faced with the challenges of building innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Sense of humor
