CarePort University: Utilization Management and Denials & Appeals for the CarePort Care Management Administrator

The goal of this 3-hour class is to provide the learner an overview of the Utilization Management and Denials & Appeals functionality and features. The ideal attendees are individuals that know the organization’s current workflow and/or the goals the organization is trying to achieve by implementing CarePort Care Management. There is a cost to this class and seats must be contracted for. 

How to register

What to expect

The class provides an overview of the functionality of the module(s) contracted by the client’s organization. A demo of the functionality of various tools in the application is given along with an explantation of the configuration behind each tool to help learners decide how the tool might be useful in their organization’s workflow.

  • Creating and sending reviews
  • Documenting payor authorizations
  • Creating and editing denials
  • Appeals
