Electronic Notifications & Interoperability: Satisfying New Conditions of Participation Requirements
CMS recently released a final rule on healthcare interoperability with the goal of improving access and removing barriers for patients to make informed healthcare decisions. Part of this rule includes the creation of a new Condition of Participation requiring hospitals to share electronic ADT notifications with post-acute providers, PCPs and other organizations when a patient is admitted, discharged or transferred. Hospitals, critical access hospitals and psychiatric hospitals are expected to comply within the next six months.
Join Ross Margulies and Jeremy Meisinger, associates from Foley Hoag, and Dr. Lissy Hu, CEO at CarePort, at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 22 to digest the rule and learn how your hospital or organization can demonstrate compliance with the recently released mandate.
We look forward to your participation. Please fill out the form on the right to register today.
